What Seraphtek collects, why, who processes it, and how to ask us to correct or delete it. We do not sell customer lists.

Effective September 13, 2026

01What we collect

Depending on how you reach us, we may have:

  • Name, email, phone, state, and the notes you type in the request form.
  • Appointment details from Calendly (name, email, event type, timezone).
  • Payment metadata from Stripe (last4, amount, state, phone if you entered them at checkout). We do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Call and text metadata when you use the published number.
  • Work logs: device type, what was done, time on site or remote. Not a full disk image unless the job is data recovery and you asked for one.
  • Sign-in data if you use the staff / client portal (provider account id, session).
  • Ordinary server logs on the host (IP, user-agent) for security and uptime.

Do not put medical records, student records, full Social Security numbers, or complete card numbers in the public form. Those jobs need a written addendum first.

02How we use it

  • To quote, schedule, do the work, and bill.
  • To confirm a booking after a package is paid.
  • To contact you about the job you asked for — not a newsletter unless you opt in separately.
  • To keep a record if there is a dispute, chargeback, or warranty callback.
  • To improve the site (aggregate, not a dossier).

03Who processes it

We use vendors to run the operation. They see only what their job requires:

  • Stripe — card checkout and payouts.
  • Calendly — appointment booking.
  • Vercel — site hosting.
  • Google Fonts — typefaces on the site.
  • Email to ops@seraphtek.com — the mailbox we read for jobs.
  • Remote-support tools used during a session (installed with your consent; removed after unless you ask to leave them).

Those vendors have their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site.

04Cookies and sign-in

The public marketing pages do not require an account. If you sign in, a session cookie (or similar) keeps you logged in. You can use the site without signing in. Booking and paying happen on Calendly and Stripe, which set their own cookies on their domains.

05Retention

  • Invoices, work logs, and prepaid balances: at least 7 years (tax and dispute records).
  • Request-form emails: until the job is closed plus a reasonable archive, then deleted on request if we are not required to keep them.
  • Calendly and Stripe retain data under their own schedules.
  • Remote session recordings: we do not record sessions as a default. If a tool does, we will tell you.

06Your rights

Email ops@seraphtek.com to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to ask for a copy. We will need enough detail to find you (the email or phone used on the job). We may keep what the law requires (for example, paid invoices).

If you are in a state with a consumer privacy statute, we will honor the rights that statute actually gives you. We do not sell personal information as that term is used in those statutes.

07Children

The site and the services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. A parent or guardian must book work that involves a minor’s device.

08Security

We use reasonable measures for a small operator: TLS on this site, Stripe for cards, limited access to the operations mailbox, and credentials used only for the job. No operator can promise that a transmission is never intercepted. Remote sessions inherit the risk of the network you are on.

09Where it sits

We operate in New England. Vendors may process data in other U.S. states. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand the information is handled here.
